Personally I do not understand the need for basically renaming
rte-crossfire at listserv.real-time.com
to the new name. The new
name is hardly obvious since "crossfire-list" could be a list of
servers or some other listing of crossfire resources. The original
"rte-crossfire" made more sense since 'rte' was just some silly
prefix apparently required by the site and "crossfire" clearly
indicated it was the main mailing list regarding crossfire.
If the name must be changed to anything then
"
crossfire at listserv.real-time.com
"
is clear and succient. In the current frenzy of redoing mailing
lists that clarity apparently disqualified that name from consideration.
