[CF List] Need installation help (please?)

Thanks for your reply.
I just checked and etc/ld.so.config (equiv to ld.config I think) does have
/usr/X11R6/lib in it. I also just ran ldconfig, then tried configure again,
but I still get the same error:
./configure: No such file or directory
