I would rather see it like this: name(de_DE) or name(fr_FR) Using not standard language identifiers can be confusig, and can lead to some problems i future. Please note, that different languages use different encodings, and using standard tags locale functins can help us. For the archs and other files using localization IMHO UTF-8 should be used, as this is the only standard encoding readable by humans and able to encode any character. Greets, Jacek
