[CF-Devel] Crossfire doesn't compile on SuSE linux?

Thank you for trying to help me. Sadly, this is not
the source of the problem. I had removed the old crossfire
directory and checked out the entire new package before
running configure and make.
So there is no way I had leftovers of old makefiles/object-files.
(I tried what you suggested anyways, but as expected it
still didn't work.)

Any other ideas? The error messages give me the impression
that there is a problem with building/linking the "libcross.a"
library.
