Another thing that might perhaps be done is that in the open spaces are
some altars, the prices of which the owner can set (for free), which open
a gate, behind which the owner can put some treasure of his own, so that
basically the owner can lay out quests for other people. For example in
the guild there are 20 amulets of lifesaving needed to buy a certain
thing. Now if the player doesn't want to wait until he finds all of them
he could set an altar to some amount of amulets of lifesaving and offer
some things behind the gates operated by the altar. If a player drops
these amulets the owner gets them and the player can take whatever the
owner put behind the gates.
