There is also the posibility of playerfiles being transfered between servers (or more likely stored in a central database); so if there is enough load we could have: "metalforge1" + "metalforge2", and/or "cat2-1" + "cat2-2", with each set of servers working together, but independant from the other set. This is not needed now, but could be useful in the future. Besides IMO encryption is needed atleast for the player's passwords with the current client -> server protocol (could allow plaintext passwords for backwards compatability though). -- -- Andrew Fuchs
