it is simply the attack code of the monsters (AI) is broken. Currently if the monster at any stages gets the call to run away it instead runs at the player and darts around it. Everytime it gets hit it moves to the other side, thus it is an ABSOLUTE bitch to kill. Try kill something with hp > 20000 that moves really fast.. you have to use the paralyze spell of just ignore it.. I don't know when it was broken or by who, but if anyone knows about that area of code I think it is in desperate need of BUG FIXING. dnh On Tue, 10 Apr 2001, H. S.
