Verant TOTALLY solved cheating (I mean, cheating was impossible, I never heard of it in EQ) by simply having all the player files themselves on the server. Crossfire is already like this, so there shouldn't be a problem. As for security, I know little, except is there a way we could encrypt player data or something, and use some sort of semi-secure connection, or would that be too slow? -Sniper sniper at citilink.com
