Thats true - crossfire is a ways away from having too many people work on it. And some things are basically independent of others. You can basically have any number of people working on maps with no problems. Even work between clients and server can be seperated to some level (not always - there may be some addition to the server which requires the client to get upgraded so that it understands that new part of the protocol. But assuming the developers agreed on what to work on, I would rather have too many developers than not enough.
