[CF-Devel] FYI on CHANGES file

I was browsing the CHANGES files and have this to add it it.

If you are an emacs user, emacs can help maintain the CHANGES file, here are a
couple commands to make your life easier:

use "control-x v v" to commit one file if required
use "control-x 4 a" while positioned in changed source to add to CHANGES
use "control-x v =" to produce a diff on that file vs CVS

You can also use rcs2log to get the info from cvs for the changelog.
