[CF List] A FAQ not in the FAQ :-)

I'm sure this question's been asked a zillion times, but I've yet to find
an answer...

Unfortunately, I die. :-(  It happens not *too* often these days, but
surprises happen, spells backfire, traps sneak up, etc.  And of inevitably
I loose a stat upon death.

Now, I've scoured the odcs and it sounds like a potion can be created
which can restore these stats.  However, they're not clear as to *what*
potion.  I've seen potions of intelegence/wisdom/etc. lying around in
dungeons, but they've always been cursed. :-(

So ... long story short ... HOW do I restore my lost stats and/or increase
my stats permanently in some fashion?  Is it a potion I need to find/buy,
or something I can make?  and if I can make it, what do I need to make it?


And might I recommend this be better documented, it's one of the less
obvious things in crossfire I think, having been able to figure most
everything else out :-)
