So one would need a fair bit of logic to figure that all out. If players decide to use bows to open doors safely, so be it, but that probably isn't that big an issue (after all, in many maps, there are several doors connected - you could search, find the ones that don't have traps, and open those - as the other doors with traps do open, the trap disappears anyways). If one really cared about some of this when designing a map, you could always put the rune/trap on the floor of the space that has the door.
