[CF-Devel] smoothing screenshots, feature request

Hey guys/gals.

Been more or less looking at smoothing screenshots, sound like nice things.
But please, can't you make smoothing a client option?
I mean, that's prolly something that eats some CPU, right?
And my poor computer is already having troubles with CF, sometimes.... 
specially with ball lightning producing a zillion lines in a few secs...
So i agree for smoothing,  but please put a way to disable it ^_^
