Problems have recently been spotted when attempting to run the CVS server. The main symptom is the map parsing getting stuck into an endless loop. After quite some investigations, it appears that using GCC 3.3.1 or 3.3.2 to build the server code causes that loop. Compiling the same code under the same conditions with an older GCC version (2.95,3.1 or 3.2) doesn't produce the bug. The exact source of the problem is unclear, but it could be a GCC bug. So if you get that problem, try to use an older version of GCC instead of 3.3. -- Yann Chachkoff ----------------------- Garden Dwarf's Best Friend ----------------------- GPG Key : http://pgp.dtype.org:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x844D25E0 Fingerprint: 6616 2E02 BAD2 4AEF C90A F1EB 7E03 AAB9 844D 25E0 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
