When was the last time the mlab mapset was synchronized with CVS? What version of CVS (or date) are you currently working off of? How much will your map changes conflict with what's currently in CVS? How much will the current maps in CVS conflict with what you have developed? IMO, things are going to have to be coordinated very soon before merging mlab maps with the official distribution becomes more time, work and effort then anyone wants to take on. Example: 1.) Where is this courthouse located? 1.1) Does an existing map need to be moved? 1.1.1) If so, where to? (see question 2) 1.1.2) It not, does this existing map get removed or retired? 1.1.2.1) If so, why? 1.1.2.2) If not removed or retired, then what happens to it? 2.) How does the world map need to be modified for this new courthouse? 2.1) What other buildings are affected by this? 2.1.1) How are they affected? 2.1.1.1) Start over with question 1.1 Well, I'm not the greatest when it comes to designing "charts" like this, but I think you get the idea. Work in tandem, otherwise the work load to put everything together will be immense. =/ On Mon, 2 Aug 2004, mikeeusa at caethaver2.ath.cx wrote: > > /mlab because mlab is bigger then scorn now and where ever I had to put > in a definite path (end maps for rand maps, perm apartments in > CityDeClouds) I put /mlab/something because that's the dir I use. And also ice caves are present. _______________________________________________ crossfire-devel mailing list crossfire-devel at lists.real-time.com https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/crossfire-devel
