This is purely my opinion, but I think spying on someone brings up some "net-personality rights" problems. It's like "Big Bro" and such things should be considered. I know some muds, but in the fair ones creators, game masters, call them what you want have the spying ability while they _have_to_tell_this_ the person they are spying on. You could say "but even players can spy on others unnoticed", but anyone who brings up such an argument surely does not understand an important thing: It's about morality. DMs have responsibilities, not only rights. (So there are some things DMs should never do what players can. Like spying on others unnoticed. Don't forget - DMs have _powers_ as well!) (And of course I know there might be situations that you have to spy on someone _unnoticed_,like someone who is suspected of doing something "illegal", but if you are fair enough to him and to yourself, after the case you tell him the _reason_ of spying.) Besides this all, I agree that DMs should see invisible in DM mode automatically.(The see invisible spell is useless against God Finger anyway. Or if it's not, I know there _is_ at least one item that grants the wearer invisibility against which no "see invisible" spell works.) > Greetings Developers, > > While in DM mode I noticed that DMs cannot "see invisible".
