Well that was easy enough to decide on.  IMHO the maps should not be
committed to CVS. You can maintain them outside however you wish. I do
not think that anyone with CVS access to the project would commit them
as they are either, but if they wish to take the considerable time
needed to clean them up I have no problems with that.  I won't however.
