I would have thought that a patch to make Imperial notes accepted as
shop payment would be more useful, but adding new coins is also good.

Yes, some of the more expensive items were currently unbuyable unless
one used a bug, as they cost more in platinum than the strongest
person could lift.
I also have some concerns that this will cause inflation, and
"platinum is the new silver". Could map and item makers please avoid
making items that cost that much unless there is a very good reason
for doing so?
