Of course you can try to fudge it, - there was mention made of changing your environment variables - you could probably tweek a crossfire user to have libraries elsewhere without messing up your system python - also when Sarge becomes law then the problem is solved (for debian, for now), however I still think that making the config script more flexable so you can build off your chosen installed python would be a good thing. > > Unless you can get crossfire to build the plugin against python 2.2+ headers > > then you are like me stuck.
