go 8E, then move 1N.  The countryside will undergo some "odd"
transitions, but if you move far enough W, S, or E, things will clear
up.


One final note: The "lost at sea" described above is not the same as
the one I encountered a while back exiting the Ruins of Euthville.
That one put me on the W side of the water; this one leaves you on
the N side.
