Because this is a volunteer OSS effort.  You are the one who sees the 
need.  The great thing about OSS is you can go ahead and fulfil the need 
and offer the code to others to enjoy also.  You may find that if you 
start a CLI client project that other coders may join you to share the 
work, or they may not.  It depends on who feels there is a need.
