  On servers running recent code, there is no rule that your total exp (score) 
equal the sum of all your skills.

  That was an intentional change - it allows one to get lots of skill exp 
without having lots of overall exp, or vice versa.

  Likewise, the exp loss is complex - there are various caps, limit number of 
lost levels, etc.

  So the amount of total exp you lose can differ than the total you lose from 
all the different skills.
