I have sound with JXClient, Debian system (Stretch, pretty old, but shouldn't 
matter).

Nothing specific to do for me to get it working...


I _think_ it uses ALSA, but don't bet too much on it ;)


As a side note, you can get a daily build from https://crossfire.weeger.org/
jxclient.jar
