What are people thoughts of having the wiki automatically email/post
updates and changes to the mailing list in a context diff format?

It's similar to the CVS mailing list for Crossfire.

Or, should they just rely on the RSS feed?

Here's an exmaple:

A page in your DokuWiki was added or changed.

Note: I removed the IP-Address, Hostname and User information; otherwise
these details are included in the email message.  How much of a concern
is this for people?
