I would say that wikipedia have the right approach, username if there is one, and only if there isn't, then print the ip address. > Here's a sample: > > Date : 2005/11/01 19:12 > Browser : Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.3; Linux; X11; i686; > fr) KHTML/3.3.2 (like Gecko) > IP-Address : ##.###.##.### > Hostname : ##.###.##.###.hostname > Old Revision: > http://wiki.metalforge.net/doku.php/document_repository?rev=1130657497 > New Revision: http://wiki.metalforge.net/doku.php/document_repository > Edit Summary: > User : username > > @@ -55,9 +55,9 @@ > Please visit their respective webpages to find out more, or visit > their respective screenshots located at > http://crossfire.real-time.com/screenshots/clients/index.html > > ===== Crossfire Monsters ===== > They're big, they're small, they bite, they claw. This would make it easier to skip over changes by trusted users, and catch any spammers (should they appear).
