[CF-Devel] Crossfire standard text DRAFT

Hello,

I think its important do define a standard text that explains what crossfire
is and where to get more information / download it. This could be used to
post in newsgroups, put on RPG, AD&D and game sites. Mail it to your friends,
spread the word!

Crossfire 1.0.0

Crossfire is graphical multi-user 2D tile-based RPG (role playing game) similar to Moria, Angband, Omega, Nethack, Rogue, Gauntlet, and Muds. The bulk of the game is based on predefined maps, however some areas are randomly generated.
There are clients for X11 (source, RPM, deb) and Windows (DirectX).

This is the first public release/release for wide spread distribution.
