[CF-Devel] overlay code conflicts with permanent maps -> havoc

Since my last update, featuring garbleds overlay code, all the permanent maps dont work anymore.
The overlay code seems to be causing this. It cause 1 crash so far, but this behaviour is much worse.
My players are revolting, I can hardly keep them from eating me alive.
See for yourself on my server:
login, create a char, get a permmap, move out of the map, save somewhere else, logoutm return, permmap is gone.
I can replace a backup of the playerfiles, but this will happen right again: the server code is doing this.
