Interesting. If a player killing another player had no negative impact on the dead character, then when you get in trouble, have someone else kill you before the monster does. No, there needs to be a penalty for all forms of death. But you're talking about draining, not killing. That's really a separate issue, isn't it? As to killing, how about splitting the experience loss between the character killed and the character doing the killing? If you lost experience for killing other players, it would be even less of a problem. --PC
