I looked at the CVS snapshot on the weekend.  Since forest.pl only changes
the arch used for certain types of arch, and only does so on certain maps,
it looks very much as if it could be applied unmodified to the latest maps
with no problems.  I will actually run the script soon, to check that.

The forest will end up a little smaller.  Mountain amd wasteland arches are
not modified by the script, so no problem there.  Road arches are also not
modified, and the new road still makes sense with the presence of the
forest.  Two of the very small patches of woodlands just inside the
mountain ring may get promoted to forest by the script.
