I know that get_region_by_name is not found by default, I expected that, Ryo 
didn't update automake before committing. The problem is that /after/ doing 
that myself, it still doesn't work, and by whinging about libtool it seems to 
suggest a toolchain issue rather than merely a header file/source file thing.

btw, what version of automake, autoconf and libtool have you got on that 
system?
