I think it will tend to allow voting from person who either have no
interrest in the repository and vote for principle without really
knowing consequence of each technlogy choice, or i could even lead to
'spam vote' (don't forget we had an expert in trolling the ml). However,
it might be that people not commiters have real interrest in our choice,
either because they use the anonymous CVS for a local fork, either
because they plan to be commiter in the near future. Suggestion
limit votes to people members of one of the following group
- commiters and project admins
- members of the crossfire-devel mailing list
- people requesting the right to vote by explictly showing interest in
development process (can be a few lines of text send to mwedel, this is
deliberatly vague)
