[crossfire] Un Deux layout ok to remove vs V1-Redux?

I think the skills panel addition is a very valuable addition, and appreciate
the effort that went into making it. It's advent seems to have broken loose
some more opportunities in UI design, including for thinning the field of
.glade offerings.

As a start, it is my opinion that either Un Deux or V1-Redux should be
deprecated.

If I were to pick one to delete, it would be Un Deux because I find the swapped
messages and inventory panels not to be something I care for. I would like to
keep one of them, or one that combines some elements from each. I think there
are too many .glade layouts in the distribution at present - without enough
variety. This could be a start at thinning the field. Keeping Un Deux would
help the "other" GTK-V1 look-alike to be more unique, but I have no idea if the
swapped layout has any appeal at all.

Before Un Deux goes away, please feel free to comment on whether this would
bother anyone - though if there is an outcry after removal, it's not like a
remove cannot be undone, or a swap redone.

Does anyone particularly appreciate the message panels being on the left vs.
on the right?

On another note, I do plan to remove the skills/exp tab on which ever one is
left active in SVN (whether or not it remains in an active distribution list).
I suspect before its all over, most glade files will have the skills/exp pane
removed. It is the most problematic of all the panels - in various respects.
Feel free to comment on this as well.

Kevin
