  I would think it might have more to do with the race than god.  I'm not sure 
exactly what rugilli woud add, but best to my knowledge, no god actually 
prevents you from attacking any monster.

  It's really your attacktype.  Best thing might be to see what the attacktypes 
of your characters are - it probably that they somehow differ.
